In April, 2017 I took a course called “Behind the Mic: Introduction to Voice Acting” instructed by Shannon Blanchet. The students identified very different learning goals at the beginning and I thought Shannon successfully addressed the needs of a very diverse group. I was hoping for information and instruction related to creating a podcast and I feel I was armed with some great resources to further that goal by the end of the course.

The course was well-organized and effective; Shannon used a variety of activities to convey information and to give students hands-on experience. Her teaching style is clear, confident and supportive.  I also felt there was terrific “flow” in the course design in that one subject led naturally to the next, building on levels of knowledge as we were guided through the weekend.
